I'm someone who loves to follow literary publications to keep track of new books that are coming out. I already actively seek out and study the listicles that come out every winter in anticipation of a new year, but preparing for this podcast had me studying these listicles in a clinical way this year.
Though 2021 was not the most thrilling literary year, the great news is that 2022’s roster is robust - there’s a very long list of books I’m excited to read that come out in 2022! Some are debuts that look right up my alley or were blurbed by writers I adore. Others are new works by writers I already love and can’t wait to see what they have coming out next.
Here's what I'm excited for! Some of these are books that we'll wind up discussing on the pod this season. Let me know if any of these books are on your list and what other books you're excited to read this year!
